Are you a trustee of a Manchester charity?
Are you a trustee who is brand new, been in the role for a while or a long-serving trustee? Would you find it helpful to discuss (in a safe space) the successes and challenges of charity trusteeship?
As part of a series of Trustee training sessions and events, and following on from Trustees Week at the beginning of November, Macc is piloting a new space ‘Trustees Connect’. The first Trustees Connect session will be a 1 hour online space on Wednesday 20 November from 6:30-7:30pm . The session will give new and experienced trustees a safe space to discuss trustee-related topics relevant to being on a board of trustees of any Manchester charity.
The aim of the session is to connect trustees from different charities so that they can share ideas, best practice, and learn from each other. Macc’s Organisational Development Workers will facilitate the sessions.
Please do come along to this first meet-up: your input as trustees will help to shape the themes and focus of future sessions and we would love to hear your ideas. If the session is helpful, we intend to hold a regular space for Manchester charity trustees to get together.
We’d love you to join us!
This session is available only to trustees of charities who have a majority of their beneficiaries located in the city of Manchester.
