Support Networks
Working in the VCSE sector can sometimes feel quite isolated as it’s common to be the only person within your organisation responsible for certain activities, for example, HR, finance, or membership, or you may work in an organisation that only has a very small number of employees or volunteers.
Staff networks are a fantastic way to connect with people from all over the sector who can relate to your activities or experiences and can provide you with support through understanding your challenges and sharing advice or can support you to press for change together, rather than individually. They’re also great to build contacts, share learnings, arrange events, and socialise.
We’ve done some research and identified a number of staff networks across GM where individuals who work or volunteer in the GM VCSE sector can join. Each group has individual agendas and terms of reference.
If you would like to add a network group to the list, please get in touch with us and we will be happy to add the details.
