Hours: 35 hours (Job share will be considered)

Hourly rate: £16.83

Are you emotionally resilient, compassionate, and committed to empowering others? We have an exciting opportunity to recruit an ISVA to join our experienced and supportive team. If you have a background in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, particularly those affected by sexual violence please either contact us for a chat or ask for an application pack. We look forward to hearing from anyone who feels they could make a difference in this difficult but rewarding work.

Purpose of the role:

The ISVA will provide high-quality, independent emotional and practical support to individuals affected by both recent and historic sexual violence. The role offers a safe, supportive space for victims to explore how their experiences have impacted them, while helping them to develop coping strategies and access the services they need. Support is tailored, trauma-informed and flexible, with the ISVA working closely with partner agencies to ensure victims understand their rights and options throughout their recovery journey.

Candidates should hold a SafeLives ISVA qualification or have relevant experience supporting victims of sexual violence. A strong understanding of the impact of sexual abuse and the criminal justice system is essential, alongside experience in multi-agency working. The role requires a calm, empathetic approach and a commitment to providing inclusive, person-centred support.
