Volunteering Support Officer (Maternity Cover)

The role

Working within Oldham’s volunteering team to raise the profile of volunteering in the community, the Volunteering Support Officer will support the delivery of a high-quality service both to individuals interested in volunteering, and to volunteer managers working within Oldham’s VCFSE sector.

You will enjoy meeting and interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and communities. You will be someone who likes to work collaboratively and is organised and skilled at following systems and processes. 

Salary:  £26,403 - £28,141 (actual pro-rata salary £15,401 - £16,416) per annum 

NJC: Scale 4 SP 7 - 11

Hours: 21 per week (part time) 

Length of contract: 12 months fixed term (Maternity cover)

Location: Oldham locality with some hybrid working
