Job Description

Aspire provides extraordinary support for exceptional people living with Dementia, Learning Disabilities, Autism and/or complex health needs in Salford and the surrounding areas. We offer a range of day services, respite care, supported living, and community and carer support, helping people to live their lives, their way. We are passionate about supporting people to achieve their own personal goals, dreams, and ambitions.

We would like to welcome enthusiastic and motivated Support Workers to join our Learning Disability Services team, based at our Autism Accredited centre - Waterside Specialist Support. We specialise in supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities and complex care needs in our specialist day support centre in Clifton. We work in a busy and varied environment where no two days are the same, providing bespoke, personalised care for the people we support, helping them to live their lives to the full.

You could find yourself supporting someone to enjoy an afternoon of arts and crafts, spending time in our sensory room, supporting people to take part in rebound therapy sessions or heading for a day out. Some people we support require assistance with personal care and daily living tasks including feeding and administering of medication. Full training will be provided but a compassion to enhance quality of life and wellbeing is essential.

You don’t need to have previous experience or qualifications in health and social care. We are looking for people to join our diverse work team and bring their personalities into the workplace. We will provide all the training and support you will need to become an excellent support worker.

You will need to have a positive attitude, professionalism, compassion, a caring nature, and core values that match our own!
