Street based roles in Harpurhey and Moston


Do you have the right mix of enthusiasm and passion for engaging with young people and a commitment to making a real difference? 

Our street based youth workers engage young people aged 11 -19 within the community to building trusting relationships, encourage positive activities and choices, and reduce anti-social or harmful behaviour through engagement and informal education.

The successful candidates will be responsible for building a rapport with young people whom are/at risk of being vulnerable for a variety of reasons. They will promote local services/organisations/charities, which can be utilised by young people to encourage services are accessed.  They will also offer social action opportunities, to encourage young people to learn new skills and build confidence.

The roles are based in North Manchester, engaging young people in Moston and Harpurhey. and will involve working afternoons and evenings.
