Job Description
To provide support to women living with HIV, facilitate group and peer led activities for women, and the promotion of peer mentoring opportunities.
The 5 core areas of focus for this role are:
- To work as part of a team providing the first point of contact for George House Trust’s services, support, advice and information for women.
- Support new mums and parents accessing our Formula Milk programme, and to recruit and manage volunteers to support with the delivery of the programme.
- To support the recruitment of women living with HIV as Peer Mentor volunteers to provide one-to-one support for women living with HIV.
- Promote groupwork opportunities effectively and facilitate regular women’s activities.
- To ensure the voices of women living with HIV are reflected in George House Trust’s work, and issues affecting women living with HIV are shared with the wider team.
Hours Per Week: 21 (0.6 FTE)
