Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled HR Advisor to support and guide our People Managers on a range of employee relations at The Growth Company (GC).

As a HR Advisor - with the support of the HR Business Partner team, you will provide advice to Managers on employment law, company policies and procedures, and HR ‘best practices’ to enable Managers to effectively deal with their issues such as performance management, absence management, disciplinary, grievance and consultation.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • The first point of contact for Managers, who can provide solutions-focused advice on a wide range of HR matters.
  • Building an effective working relationship with our Managers at all levels.
  • At GC we pride ourselves in empowering others, therefore it is important that you can continually coach and develop our line managers on key management practices including performance and capability issues, conflict and dispute situations, and absence management.
  • You will work closely with our team of Business Partners and assist with embedding the HR and OD Strategy across GC.
  • Committed to continuously improving the HR Service delivery.

About you:

  • Professional and confident manner always showing tact and diplomacy.
  • High degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to deal with difficult and multiple tasks at any one time.

  • Have a proactive approach.

Essential Skills:

  • CIPD Qualified (Chartered/Graduate membership) or working towards.
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent relevant professional experience).
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current employment legislation and its application and HR ‘best practice’.
