IRS Wellbeing Service Senior Coordinator
Organisation: Back on Track
Locations: Manchester
Salary: from £33,986.00 to £37,517.00
Working Hours: Full-Time
Type: Fixed term
Job Description
A leadership role in a flagship criminal justice service
As one of two senior coordinators who lead the IRS Wellbeing team you will be an essential part of delivering and developing a flagship criminal justice service, demonstrating how person-centred support can help people with a history of offending to make progress in their lives.
This post will line manage two of the three team leaders. This is a leadership role with responsibility for guiding the team and developing the offer in keeping with the contract and Back on Track’s way of working. Through this you will have a central role in helping individuals currently receiving supervision from Probation to improve their wellbeing, including potentially working with a small caseload of your own.
You will work closely with the other senior coordinator and the service manager, with whom responsibility for the contract and team overall is shared. Your individual area of focus will be quality and performance, ensuring that project workers have the skills and knowledge to provide impactful support and meet the contract requirements. This will involve monitoring the achievement of key performance indicators, pulling reports from case management systems and analysing for regular reports, keeping on top of process changes and communicating these to the wider team. You will work closely with the Big Life Group contract management team and Probation Service colleagues in doing so on behalf of Back on Track.
We are looking for someone who is proactive and flexible, with good organisational skills and confidence with quality, performance and reporting processes. You will ideally have worked on services similar to IRS Wellbeing and be able to demonstrate commitment to integration into communities for people with a history of offending. We deeply value diversity, lived experience and what those can bring to the team, and we welcome applications from people who have faced the disadvantages our members experience in their lives.
Back on Track promote a balanced and supportive work life for our colleagues. In our recent colleague survey, inclusion and fair treatment and organisational culture were our highest scoring areas. 100% said they are proud to be part of Back on Track and would recommend it as a great place to work.
