Job Description

The Growth Company’s (GC) Education & Skills Financial Services team are looking for a Pensions Administration expert to join their established apprenticeship delivery team. The role is ideally suited to someone who has worked in the Pensions Industry and is looking for a new challenge coaching and mentoring the next generation of Pensions experts. We have the expertise to develop your coaching and mentoring skills to support apprentices who are just embarking on their Pensions career across a wide range of employers and this role would suit someone with experience in Pensions Administration.

The key elements of the role are to support the apprentices developing their Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours linked to their work-related activities and support for the Award in Pensions Essentials (PMI Professional Qualification).

Experience of coaching, mentoring and training staff members or colleagues in their roles is all that is needed to join our team, we can develop the skills you need to become a Pensions Skills Development Tutor.

Location: Remote delivery with travel to our Head Office in Manchester expected once per quarter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account manages a learner caseload in line with our business KPI’s, and to support facilitate progression and securing repeat business.
  • Plan and design face to face and blended digital sequential curriculum to promote the attainment of retainable knowledge, skills and behaviours.
  • Mark/feedback students’ work provide structured actions for learners to undertake to complete their programme.
  • Accurately track KSB progress of all learners and effectively risk band their timely progress and achievement against a set of KPI measures.
  • Undertake and log industrial and pedological continuing professional development.
  • Ensure risk assessments are in place and reviewed annually so that learners are safe.
  • Support the team’s continual professional attainment and development through leading on and participating in a range of internal quality assurance activities.

About You:

  • To support creating conceptualise learning materials to develop a learners knowledge and skills of the Industry.
  • The ability to plan and organise workload effectively.
  • Are motivating and inspiring and have life experience in a Pensions role to share real life examples of how the Pensions Industry works.
  • Ability to use a variety of digital systems and eLearning platforms to direct and support learners.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years industry experience is essential.
  • Experience of coaching, mentoring learning in past or present role.
  • The ability to use a variety of digital systems and eLearning platforms to direct and support learners.
  • Well-developed IT skills, including and understanding of computerised management information systems. spreadsheet, diary management and email.
  • Up to date knowledge of specialist subject area/professional qualifications as appropriate.

Hours Per Week: 37 hours
