Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Living Well Navigator to join the organisation on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Living Well Project Manager, the Living Well Navigator will be responsible for supporting people to overcome barriers in accessing services. Navigators support people to manage their own risk and take an active role in their own recovery journey, whatever that may look like for them.

To be considered for this role, we are looking for 
Experience:

1. Experience of providing support services to members of the public. (E)
2. Experience of working independently to deliver services safely. (E)
3. Experience of working with people who are experiencing mental ill health, have a diagnosis of a Severe Mental Illness and/or complex circumstances that impact on mental wellbeing.  (E)

Qualifications:

1. Prior qualifications in a related subject area such as health and social care or equivalent experience Level 3 or above. (D)
2. Willingness to undertake training and qualifications relevant to role. (E)  

Knowledge:

1. Knowledge of emotional wellbeing, mental health issues or other relevant health support services. (E)
2. Knowledge of approaches to support people to achieve better mental health. (E)
3. A knowledge and understanding of adult and children safeguarding. (E)
