This is 8 working hours + one-hour unpaid lunch break on a variable basis depending on event requirements)

Job Description
Plan & deliver AV and IT requirements in Factory International spaces. Supporting events ranging from large-scale productions, to in-house meetings, working with up-to-date and innovative technologies

Salary - £27-29,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
This role will work with the IT, Venue and Technical teams to plan and deliver AV and IT requirements in Factory International spaces. Supporting events ranging from large-scale productions, to in-house meetings, working with up-to-date and innovative technologies.
Please note this role will be on a rota working hours across weekdays, weekends and evenings depending on the requirements.
The key responsibilities for the AV Technician include;
- Working with the IT and venue technical teams to plan and deliver AV and IT requirements in Factory International spaces
- Preparing equipment for events. Ensuring equipment is used and stored correctly and safely. Reporting faults or issues with equipment or systems in a timely manner
- Setting up and de-rigging a range of audio visual and IT equipment including hybrid meeting setups, projectors, screens, display equipment, networking equipment, small PAs, etc
- Operating equipment for events and activities of various types and sizes as required
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, venue staff and crew both onsite and prior to service delivery
- Maintaining and supporting the digital signage system
- Adhering with company health and safety procedures
- Assisting other departments as required to meet the needs of the business
The person specification for the AV Technician are;
ESSENTIAL
- Relevant work experience from any industry sector with transferable skills
- A proactive, flexible and collaborative approach to working
- Good working knowledge of a range of A/V and IT equipment
- General experience working with IT networks
- Ability to work as part of a team or unaccompanied under own initiative
- High standard of personal presentation with a client focused attitude
- Good communication skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
- Keen eye for detail with a high standard of equipment presentation
- Commitment to championing representation and inclusion at every level of the organisation with a proven ability to work with people from a wide range of backgrounds
DESIRABLE
- Qualifications in IT or A/V related fields
- Awareness of current trends in various IT and A/V technologies and systems
- Experience working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and clients
- Enthusiasm for training, mentoring and support of emerging talent
Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week
