Job Description

The Growth Company (GC) has a great opportunity for a Quality Officer to assist in all aspects of quality assurance (QA) including observations, feedback, safeguarding, self-assessment, workforce development and training, policies, and procedures.

As well as supporting the delivery of the QA calendar, quality improvement planning and alignment with industry practice and accreditations, internally and across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Contribute and support the delivery of QA activities ensuring that customers and learners achieve sustainable outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key partners, suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Day-to-day contact with subcontractors/suppliers/staff.
  • Supporting the monitoring, evaluating and moderating quality of provision.
  • Contribute to the development of products, tools and resources to enhance service delivery.
  • Undertake checks of action plans and other work products that evidence the quality of the customer journey and experience.
  • Support internal audits of systems and controls for the service such as Matrix and Fidelity.
  • Contribute to quality audits, and monthly and quarterly reports regarding quality to the supply chain and internal management team.
  • Carry out administrative tasks when necessary.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Must have Assessor or teaching qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Good knowledge of contractual quality requirements (MOJ, Combined  Authorities, DWP etc.) and quality standards i.e. Ofsted, Matrix, ISO9001.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training sessions.
  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office systems.
