The role
This role will support our strategic ambition to grow and transform as a local funder.
You will support the awarding of grants to community groups and projects, making sure our funding gets where it’s needed most, in line with our commitments to the IVAR principles of open and trusting grantmaking.
You will connect with our community development team to make sure grant applicants are offered the support they need to develop, bid, deliver and evaluate their projects.
You will also offer a welcoming and professional first point of contact for our new members and work with our Operations Manager to maximise the engagement of our membership
The ideal candidate
Someone with excellent organisation skills and attention to detail, with a good understanding of the VCFSE sector and grant investments, who is passionate about Tameside’s communities and is committed to social justice.
Salary: £26,421-£29,269 per annum
NJC Grade: Scale 5 SP 12 - 18
Hours: 36 hours per week (Monday to Friday, occasional evening and weekend work may be required)
Length of contract: 12 months fixed term
Location: Tameside locality/Hybrid
