Asset Manager

Job Description

Reporting directly to our Operations Director, our new Asset Manager will lead on the delivery of the strategic priorities and plans for the association's asset management services.

Ideally, we are looking for a qualified surveyor. You will have extensive experience in leading and coordinating asset management projects and working knowledge of stock condition surveys.

You will be the association’s expert on retrofit and energy efficiency. You will keep abreast of changes in legislation and innovation within the sector and ensure this is fed through to our plans and projects. You will lead on the tendering and procurement of services related to asset management such as digital switchover and future proofing.

You will be innovative and have the ability to forge and maintain excellent relationships both internally and externally. You will have experience managing budgets and have experience of operating at a senior level. You will have excellent IT skills and work with us to ensure that our systems and processes enable us to accurately monitor our stock.

We have relied heavily on external consultants to provide asset management expertise over the past few years and this role will be a brilliant opportunity for the right person to shape this new in-house specialist role and to make it your own.
