Job Description

  • £36,124 per annum FTE (NJC Scale Point 26).
  • Full time, 37 hours per week.
  • Initially a 1 year contract, with extension subject to funding.
  • The closing date for applications is 12PM, Monday 22 September 2025.
  • We plan to hold interviews between 29 September and 3 October 2025.

It’s an exciting time to join 10GM as our Partnerships and Projects Manager.

Working closely with our Strategic Leads, Directors, and 10GM Partnership, you will be supporting the delivery of a range of internal projects, external programmes and partnerships across Greater Manchester.


A substantial part of this role will focus on the E26 Social Economy programme. 10GM is currently coordinating the delivery of this programme across Greater Manchester (GM). The programme has been running for nearly 18 months and provides support to individuals and organisations operating in the social economy across GM.


You will need to be a self-starter who uses their initiative and experience to develop effective partnerships with diverse organisations. You will also need great project management skills, excellent communication and organisational skills, and a good knowledge and understanding of the VCSE sector in Greater Manchester.

Live Well
Supporting our sector to engage in new opportunities in the GM Mayor’s flagship Live Well approach.

 

VCSE Local Infrastructure Development
Developing great VCSE infrastructure support in each locality within GM.

 

Data, Insight and Intelligence
We are exploring how we grow our sector’s capabilities for gathering and sharing data and insight about our communities and sector.

 

VCFSE Leadership Group
Ensuring that local voices are represented and able to shape the Leadership Group’s work.

 

VCSE Accord
Co-ordinating locality engagement and supporting implementation of the three-way collaboration agreement between the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership, and the GM VCSE sector.

 

VCSE Commissioning Framework
Working to positively influence commissioning by embedding the recommendations of the framework within neighbourhoods.
