Job Description
We are seeking a Café Supervisor to lead and inspire our volunteer team, many of whom are gaining experience to help them into employment. This role is ideal for someone with supervisory experience in hospitality who is passionate about community impact, good food, and excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and training volunteers in a supportive, inclusive environment
- Ensuring safe and efficient café operations
- Developing the café offer to meet fundraising targets
- Collaborating on menu development and stock management
- Representing Arc’s values and mission to the public
Person specification:
We’re looking for someone with:
- Experience supervising in a hospitality setting
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A passion for food, coffee, and community engagement
- A commitment to equality, inclusion, and sustainability
Food hygiene level 2 and experience in community or arts settings are desirable but not essential.
